About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Vice President (Wholesaler) to join our Sales team in Vancouver. In this role, you will build strong business relationships with our clients by identifying, selling, and cross-selling opportunities, and measuring client satisfaction. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with AGF's distribution network to drive revenue growth and servicing core advisors to build and grow their assets.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with AGF's distribution network and core advisors.
  3. Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to grow client assets.
  4. Monitor and analyze client fund flows to identify trends and provide suggestions for improvement.
  5. Provide effective product and sales support to cultivate relationships and drive sales.
  6. Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Collaborate with the Sales Team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  8. Manage and maintain accurate records of client activity and sales performance.

Your Qualifications:

  1. University degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years of Wholesaler experience or industry equivalent.
  3. Established relationships with IIROC advisors in the Vancouver, Lower Mainland, and/or BC Okanagan regions.
  4. Strong knowledge of capital markets, particularly stock and bond markets, and their relation to mutual funds, ETFs, and Alternatives.
  5. Proven sales ability with effective customer relationship building skills.
  6. Team player and self-starter, highly motivated, and results-driven.
  7. Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
  8. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, effective listening skills, and excellent presentation skills.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Salesforce.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 annually. Salaries will vary based on factors such as position location and candidate experience/qualifications. In addition, AGF offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes variable compensation, benefits, and retirement savings plans.
