Responsibilities:
- Global Labor Law & Compliance Tracking:
- Monitor, research, and analyze labor laws, employment regulations, and labor compliance requirements globally, ensuring company policies align with legal standards.
- Track regulatory changes affecting employment practices, workplace policies, federal contractor, and reporting requirements.
- Provide proactive insights and recommendations on labor compliance trends across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain and oversee internal compliance-related tools and references.
- AI Regulations in Labor & Employment Law:
- Stay up to date with evolving AI regulations impacting human resources, including laws related to AI-driven hiring, workforce analytics, and bias mitigation.
- Collaborate with labor, legal, and technology teams to assess AI tools used in labor processes including hiring, talent management for compliance risks.
- Point of Contact for North America (NAMER):
- Serve as the primary compliance liaison for Canada and the United States.
- Coordinate NAMER compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to federal, state/provincial, and local labor laws.
- Work with labor business partners, legal teams, and external advisors to address compliance challenges in NAMER.
- Support audits, investigations, and policy updates relevant to the North American workforce.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of labor law compliance, HR legal, or HR regulatory experience, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of global labor laws, with a focus on North America (NAMER) labor regulations (U.S. and Canada).
- Familiarity with AI regulations in labor and emerging legal frameworks related to AI-driven hiring and workforce management.
- Experience driving labor law compliance initiatives and collaborating across global teams.
- Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize competing objectives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with regulatory tracking tools, labor compliance or HR case management systems.
