We are seeking a highly skilled Woodworking Supervisor to join our team at Best Quality Kitchen Cabinets.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will oversee various woodworking projects, supervise other workers, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct apprentices in woodworking techniques and best practices.
  • Analyze plans, specifications, and drawings to create high-quality wooden products.
  • Trim joints, fit parts together, and reinforce joints to achieve precise results.
  • Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare laminated plastics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Supervise other workers, provide guidance, and ensure they meet project deadlines.
  • Evaluate costs, materials, and labor requirements to estimate project expenses.
  • Rework or repair existing wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products as needed.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 35-40 hours per week.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in woodworking. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000, depending on location and qualifications.
