Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Bretoba Contracting is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to work on our construction sites. The successful candidate will have experience with concrete finishing, including filling hollows, operating power vibrators, and applying hardening and sealing components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Own transportation and steel-toed safety boots
