Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team, responsible for preparing complete electrical cost estimates for electric transmission, generation, distribution, and substation projects in the utilities, industrial, and renewables space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project estimators with technical support, focusing on assessing technical project requirements and personnel needs.
- Assist the Estimating Manager in implementing department procedures, methods, and processes, and relaying estimating information to management.
- Prepare construction schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Electrical Technologist Diploma and/or Journeyman Electrician required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the Utility Industry or estimating knowledge of electric distribution, transmission, and substation projects.
- Proficiency in all applications within Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Canada; valid driver's license required.
