About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform and DevOps Engineer to join our team at Comptech Associates. As a key member of our Clear Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust platforms and infrastructure to support our cash management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Develop automation and infrastructure as code to improve operational consistency and efficiency.
  • Cloud Architecture and Deployment: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM templates, and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling of cloud resources.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with the team to implement secure, highly available and scalable architectures for our Clear Apps on our Public Cloud.
  • Cloud Architecture Best Practices: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture best practices and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • CI/CD Pipelines and Automation: Manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to streamline software delivery and infrastructure management processes using existing tools and established tech stack.
  • Automation and Feedback: Deploy new automation incrementally and iteratively to get near real-time feedback from our stakeholders.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide guidance to other team members on managing end-to-end availability and performance of mission-critical services, building automation to prevent problem recurrence, and building automated responses for non-exceptional service conditions.

Requirements:

  • Cloud Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing projects on the Azure public cloud.
  • Coding Skills: Coding experience in at least one of the following: Golang, Java or Python; experience writing scripts to automate operational tasks (eg. Shell, Python, GO).
  • DevOps and Automation: A passion for making developers more efficient through DevOps, CI/CD, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Strong expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a cloud environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Certifications: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
