Job Title: Assistant Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Cook to join our team at Harmony Hills Early Learning Academy and Youth Centre.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be physically demanding, and have excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Work Environment:

The Assistant Cook will work in a daycare setting, with a focus on providing high-quality food and service to our students and staff.
