Clinical Leadership Opportunities

Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a dedicated professional to fill the position of Associate Physician Lead. This role provides leadership and support for Associate Physicians within the health authority, reporting directly to the Director of Interdisciplinary Medical Providers.
The successful candidate will oversee onboarding, provide mentorship, chair the Associate Physician community of practice, and ensure high-quality care. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary contact for Associate Physicians
- Providing real-time guidance and support
- Assisting with day-to-day clinical practice needs
This is a 0.2 FTE position for a two-year term with the possibility of renewal. Remuneration is based on the medical leader stipend rate.
Required qualifications include:
- Licensed Physician in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience within the Health Authority or similar healthcare setting
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
