Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bear Country Inn Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Establish work schedules

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
