Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Live-in Caregiver to join our team. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our clients in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Assistance with Daily Activities: Assist clients with daily activities such as exercise, walking, and other tasks.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
