Key Responsibilities:- Welcome and assist customers, addressing their service needs.
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly, including costs and timelines.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and prioritize service orders.
- Coordinate with the service team for timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repair orders.
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage warranty claims.
- Collaborate with service technicians and parts staff for smooth operations.
- Previous experience as a service advisor or in a related customer service role within the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck mechanics, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers clearly.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling appointments, generating invoices, and maintaining records.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service experiences.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with service technicians, parts department staff, and other dealership personnel.
