At SAM SIGNS INC., we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings to set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain precision measuring instruments will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of our products.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a machine shop environment. A strong understanding of machining principles and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments
  • Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
