Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Advisor

At National Bank, we're committed to delivering exceptional security solutions that protect our customers' sensitive information. As a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the migration of our workloads to AWS, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, providing expert guidance on cloud security best practices.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect our cloud infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in AWS Cloud critical components.
  • Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to understand their security needs, delivering tailored solutions and educating them on cloud security best practices.
  • Participate in working group discussions, providing strategic cloud security advice and recommendations to inform our architecture strategy.
  • Assess cybersecurity compliance against Canadian and international regulatory frameworks, ensuring our organization remains compliant and secure.
  • Communicate indicators to stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, performance, and risk.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a few years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Deep knowledge of security best practices in AWS, including IAM, KMS, VPC, and Service Control Policies.
  • One or more certifications in the cybersecurity field, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
  • Knowledge of key cyber regulatory frameworks for financial institutions, such as PCI, OSFI, FFIEC, or NYDFS.
  • Proven ability to advise and support technical teams in applying security best practices.
