Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our client's team on a contract basis. As a Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. You will work closely with senior management to analyze financial results and make recommendations for business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning: Assist in the development of monthly and quarterly budgets, and contribute to the creation of long-term plans.
- Financial Analysis: Participate in the analysis of financial results and forecasts, and provide recommendations for business initiatives.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present financial reports and plans to senior management.
- System Maintenance: Use systems to maintain cost center hierarchies, organize business units, and perform allocations in SAP.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial modeling and budgeting.
- Education: University educated with a CPA or CFA designation.
- Skills: Strong analytical and consolidation, reporting, and modeling skills.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to develop the big picture and concurrently be detail-oriented.
- Technical Skills: High-level experience with SAP, Oracle Hyperion, WDesk, and PCS, MS BI.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Communication: Strong team player with above-average presentation skills.
- Adaptability: Extremely focused individual who can work in a busy environment.
