About The Job

The Musical Stage Company is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive the company's artistic vision and creative work.

The incoming Artistic Director will be responsible for leading the company's artistic direction, collaborating with the Co-Executive Directors, and developing strategic plans to achieve the company's goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a bold and forward-thinking artistic vision for the company.
  • Select annual programs and core artistic collaborators.
  • Maintain artistic standards and oversee an impact-driven strategy for new musical development.
  • Create and manage a talent pipeline for artists supported by the organization.
  • Develop partnerships locally, nationally, and internationally to collaborate on development and production.

Leadership Qualities:

  • Provide ambitious and inspirational leadership that motivates staff, artists, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement organizational strategies to achieve artistic goals.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and lead the staff team.
