Job Title: Assisted Living Coordinator

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assisted Living Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading the Assisted Living Neighborhood team.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Plan, organize, develop, and lead the overall operation of the assisted living neighborhood in accordance with federal, provincial, local laws, and Sunrise Senior Living standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-quality team to ensure exceptional resident care and services.
  • Culture and Engagement: Provide recognition and create an engaged culture for team members, residents, and families.
  • Compliance and Partnerships: Ensure the community follows all federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, and Sunrise standards as it pertains to resident care and services. Partner with the leadership team to ensure community compliance with OSHA requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum one year supervisory/management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and supervision of daily operations in assisted living or long term care.
  • Education: BA/BS degree may be required based on provincial requirements.
  • Skills: Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new applications.
