About the Role

BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team on a 6-month contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Treasury and Payment Solutions team, primarily focusing on the OLBB (Online Banking for Business) platform. You will be responsible for visualizing business requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and documenting project plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with web services (SOAP and REST), messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ), and APIs is essential.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand project requirements and provide high-level estimates.
  • Document project plans and present to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Work with Enterprise Architects and business partners to determine technical feasibility and ROI.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions or Enterprise Architecture.
  • Strong expertise in web services (SOAP, REST), APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka, MQ).
  • Experience in the banking/financial industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
