As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating community experiential learning projects and programs, providing administrative support to the team, and working closely with students, faculty, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate community experiential learning projects and programs, including recruitment and registration of students, logistics for orientation and training, and coordination of meetings and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including maintaining databases, tracking data, and preparing reports.
  • Work closely with students, faculty, and community partners to develop and implement community engaged learning projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including non-profit organizations, schools, and businesses.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

  • High school graduation, plus one year of post-secondary education, plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of community engaged learning and the value of community and university partnerships.
  • Experience working in a university or non-profit setting an asset.
