Job Summary

MYT Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over intercity routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management
    • Load and unload goods from trailers, ensuring accurate inventory and documentation.
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
    • Monitor and maintain the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
    • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security
    • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
    • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Air Brakes Endorsement
    • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
