Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Enlarged Role Nurse to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and working in a multidisciplinary team.

• Conduct patient assessments and provide diagnoses at a distance, working closely with doctors to determine the best course of action.
• Perform actions and interventions typically reserved for doctors in other healthcare settings.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated health and social services to patients.

• Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q.
• Two years of diversified experience as a nurse or one year of experience as a nurse in an emergency room.
• Fluent in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
