Welder Specialist

CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to determine the best approach for each project.
- Examine welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal.
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Determine weldability of materials and select the most suitable welding process.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
