About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Journeyperson to join our Maintenance Department. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mill equipment. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, mechanical, and pressure equipment
  • Complete hazard assessments to ensure work is executed in a safe fashion
  • Develop, improve, and adhere to safe work practices and procedures
  • Enter work requests for initiation of work to be conducted; close work orders with descriptive detail of actual work performed
  • Demonstrate positive safety behaviors in the Mission Zero journey
  • Additional duties as required

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Alberta Certified or Out of Province Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certified Journeyperson Millwright
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Ability to provide shift coverage and SWAT as required
