Job Description
The Engine Assembler B role at Magellan Aerospace involves working on production assembly procedures established by previous shop practice or oral instruction. Key responsibilities include strip operations, minor alterations, flow and pressure checks, and spray and touch-up brush painting work on parts and assemblies for engines and test rigs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should have formal education or related 3-5 years of work experience in a turbine engine repair and overhaul facility. Technical training in gas turbine engines and advanced turbine engines is also essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as action-oriented behavior, are required. Additionally, candidates must be able to work with precision measuring instruments, hand tools, photographs, blueprints, process summary sheets, planning instructions, change notices, and oral instructions.
