Job Summary:

The Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Laundry and Linen: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
