Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Transformation Specialist to join our team at Leggett & Platt, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving lean transformation initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a continuous improvement role, with a strong background in lean principles and methodologies. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing strategies to address these opportunities, and measuring the impact of your efforts on our business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Support Branch Managers and other operations group leaders in their lean transformation efforts
* Develop and implement measurement tools to evaluate potential areas for formal lean transformation actions
* Recommend lean transformation projects based on operational and financial data analysis
* Project manage approved lean transformation programs by coordinating necessary human and operational resources
* Coach and train operational managers and staff to apply, support, sustain, and develop a lean transformation culture
* Facilitate and lead lean transformation events as a subject matter expert

Requirements
* 5-10 years of experience in a continuous improvement role
* Strong background in lean principles and methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
