About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Signal Manager to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the construction of all signal systems, related inspection activities, and in-service testing in the Southern Region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned personnel to ensure signal construction work is performed in accordance with CN and FRA standards.
  • Direct 4 to 5 supervisors, recommend corrective actions to resolve performance issues, and respond to grievances.
  • Build safety compliance and improve safety results through efficiency testing and safety walkabouts.
  • Plan, implement, and manage capital projects to ensure execution of the plan within CN and FRA standards.
  • Participate in signal restoration activities related to derailments and disruptions in service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in signals and communications.
  • Minimum 2 years of S&C maintainer experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of S&C supervisory experience.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
  • 2-year Technical Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
