We are seeking an experienced Truck Fleet Supervisor to join our team at PARALLEL 60 TRANSPORT INC.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, working 30-35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be organized and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise truck drivers and projects: Recommend measures to improve work methods, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and co-ordinate repairs and rentals.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Organize tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Manage personnel: Supervise 5-10 people, including truck drivers, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain records and reports: Keep accurate records of activities, meetings, and decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience: In a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the trucking industry.
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the trucking industry and its regulations.
