Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
- Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure that all dishes are properly stored and maintained.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all inventory is properly labeled and organized.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit, and maintaining accurate records of food quantities used.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, and removing kitchen garbage and trash.
- Tool Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain other kitchen tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Work Setting: Rural area.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
