Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and educational hockey programs for participants of all skill levels.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for participants, staff, and spectators by adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest coaching techniques, strategies, and best practices to continuously improve program delivery and participant outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a hockey coach or instructor, with a strong background in hockey development and coaching.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with participants, staff, and parents. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Certifications and Training: Possess or be willing to obtain relevant certifications, such as WHMIS, AODA, and First Aid.
