About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at PTA Fuel Incorporation. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Assist customers with self-checkout, verify age for restricted products, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to a productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Willing to Relocate: Willingness to relocate to a new location is a must.
  • Availability: Availability to work 30-40 hours per week is required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
