Job Title: Structural Steel Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team at Linesteel (1973) Limited. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting steel plates and sections to form structures, using a variety of welding techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble and fit steel plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together using MIG and GMAW techniques
  • Construct patterns and templates for fabrication
  • Install fabricated components in final product
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in structural steel fabrication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week
