About the Role

The Operator is a key member of our production team, responsible for assembling products using assigned welding equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of quality, operational procedures, and occupational health and safety protocols.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and equipment by loading parts onto fixtures, moving, stacking, and troubleshooting equipment within scope of responsibility.
  • Be flexible and open to changes in assignment to provide support to other areas of the department.
  • Train workers in machine-specific training as required.
  • Ensure Work-In-Progress (WIP) meets standards.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process to improve productivity and quality.
  • Alert supervisor/lead hand of any safety, quality, maintenance, or production concerns related to equipment.
  • Perform First Offs and Last Offs as required.
  • Perform visual and documented inspections on parts as required by the customer.
  • Able to operate basic computer functions, including software programs and applications.
Requirements
  • Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience in the Automotive Industry is an asset.
