Senior Digital Systems Architect

An innovative technology company revolutionising the semiconductor industry by providing cutting-edge solutions for System-on-Chip (SoC) designs is seeking a Digital Design Lead.
They specialise in delivering advanced clocking and customisable IP solutions that enhance the performance, power efficiency, and scalability of SoCs.

About the Role- Lead the specification, design, verification, and sign-off of complex digital systems.
- Take full ownership of the design process, driving projects from Register-Transfer Level (RTL) through to Gate-Level Netlist (GDS) delivery.
- Manage synthesis, timing closure, and design sign-off to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Collaborate closely with application engineers to support customer engagement.
- Partner with silicon validation teams for thorough post-silicon analysis and optimisation.
- Pervasive experience in 4+ tapeouts.
- Hands-on experience leading SOC design projects, including ownership of multiple ASIC tapeouts across various technology nodes.
- Expertise in digital design systems, architecture, and verification processes.
- Proficiency in block- and system-level Verilog verification within ASIC environments.
- Knowledge of block-level Place-and-Route (P&R), including clock tree synthesis (CTS), extraction, timing closure, and Design Rule Checking (DRC)/Layout Versus Schematic (LVS).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within a team.
We are offering an estimated salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
