Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Island Health's Department of Surgery is seeking a full-time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team at the Comox Valley Hospital. The ideal candidate will have completed a minimum 4-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and be eligible for Certified Specialist licensure with the College of Physicians of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia.
The Comox Valley Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility that serves a referral population of 70,000. The hospital has a closed ICU and diagnostic imaging services include CT and MRI scanners. Island Health is affiliated with the UBC Faculty of Medicine.
Key responsibilities will include providing full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgical services to patients. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the existing surgeon and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
