About the Role

Dr A Korada Inc is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for dental examinations, ordering dental and office supplies, performing administrative functions for the dental laboratory, preparing dental instruments and filling materials, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment, polishing teeth and clinical crowns and applying fluoride and sealant, scheduling and confirming appointments, recording dental procedures performed on patients, and invoicing patients for dental services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, providing reassurance, and ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Order dental and office supplies as needed to maintain an efficient and well-stocked dental practice.
  • Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including processing orders, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials according to established protocols to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with infection control policies.
  • Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant as part of routine dental care.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients to ensure timely and effective treatment.
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients accurately and efficiently to maintain detailed medical histories.
  • Invoice patients for dental services provided, ensuring clear and transparent billing practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong educational background, preferably in a related field such as dental assisting or hygiene.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient care and quality control.
  • Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, with the ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and workload demands.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions.
  • A commitment to accuracy, reliability, and dependability, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient privacy.

Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working approximately 30-35 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in this setting, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
