Job Overview:

A DevOps Engineer at US Mobile will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and operations. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure using Google Cloud to support our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using Google Cloud.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of applications, services, and infrastructure.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Configuration Management: Employ configuration management tools to automate the setup and management of various environments.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and productive DevOps culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of version control systems.
