About the Role
This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for clients facing life-threatening illnesses. Your expertise will enable you to provide symptom management, goals of care conversations, and end-of-life care with compassion and empathy.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to clients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, to achieve quality symptom management, goals of care conversations, and end-of-life care.
- Assess, consult, plan, implement, and evaluate care needs of clients facing problems associated with life-threatening illness in acute, hospice, or community settings.
- Promote the palliative philosophy that improves the quality of life of clients and their families, relieving suffering and addressing physical, emotional, and practical difficulties.

Required Qualifications
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Two years' recent, related acute medical-surgical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Palliative Care experience and completion of related coursework are assets.
