At Comfort Inn & Suites, we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position working approximately 30-40 hours per week.

About the Role

This role requires attention to detail and physical stamina, as you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas. You will work independently with minimal supervision and must have excellent communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks that require physical stamina and attention to detail. You must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel throughout your shift.

Experience and Education

We are looking for someone with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
