Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Manage Inventory: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and managed.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with accurate and timely information.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with frequent exposure to noise and heat. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
