**Job Summary:**
We are seeking Summer Students to join our team as Industrial Trainees. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a production environment and develop skills in various areas of the mill site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with operating machinery, including resaw and chop saw, lathe machine, forklift, grader, package saw, chipper, and trim saw.
- Perform labor duties to increase productivity and reduce safety risks.
- Rotate through various job responsibilities and tasks within your assigned team on an hourly basis.
- Review work to ensure accuracy and precision.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods of time.
- Experience with and/or around machinery and equipment is an asset but not mandatory.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- High degree of urgency and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
