Job Responsibilities

The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, providing initial assessment, treatment, and transport of ill or injured persons.

Requirements
  • **Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)**
  • **Valid Class 4 driver's license**
  • **International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)**
  • **Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)**
Preferred Qualifications
  • **Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)**
  • **Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team**
  • **Ability to work independently**
Working Conditions

Oxbow is a rural community located in Saskatchewan, Canada.

**Standard Hours:**

**Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level**

**Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement**
