We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialists to join our team at RhynoCare in the Napanee area.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Role:

As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice. Your key responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality nursing care that prioritizes resident safety and well-being.
  • To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent care and personal support services.
  • To ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to our home and services offered.
  • To coordinate transfers and discharges efficiently and safely.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing long-term care.
