About the Position

This role involves providing specialized care and treatment for patients with myeloid malignancies. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to research, education, and administrative activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with myeloid malignancies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives to advance knowledge and best practices in hematology.
  • Participate in administrative activities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Fellowship standing with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine.
  • Certificate of Special Competence in hematology or completed hematology residency training.
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Meet BC Cancer's Professional Advisory Committee credentialing requirements.
  • Hold or be eligible for a valid medical license in Canada.

Location

This position is located at Surrey Memorial Hospital, where you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
