Occupational Therapist, Rheumatology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Ambulatory Medical Care department. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and adolescents with rheumatology conditions to help them achieve their goals and improve their daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate clients to identify their goals and daily activities that are important to them
- Develop and implement intervention plans to help clients achieve their goals
- Provide coaching and education to clients and their families
- Document treatment statistics and progress notes
- Attend patient care rounds, meetings, and conferences as required
Requirements:
- Graduate of a World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) Approved Occupational Therapy Program
- Licensed Member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia (COTNS)
- Registered, or eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably with children and adolescents
- Experience working with children and adolescents with rheumatology conditions is preferred
