**Salary or Pay Band:** Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Coordinator $39.654 to $48.451

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Respond to emergent and non-emergent calls for service within the community and provide assessment, treatment, and transportation in adherence to Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations and organization policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners to enhance emergency medical services and promote public health.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize emergency medical services.

**Education and Training:**

• Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)

**Licenses and Certifications:**

• Valid Class 4 driver's license

**Other Education and Training:**

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)

**Knowledge and Abilities:**

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

**Other Information:**

• HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
• Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
• Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at ACP/EMT-P
