Job Summary:

    As a Data Architect Manager at Kainos, you will provide guidance in traditional data architecture disciplines, including data structures, data flows, data sourcing, and data governance. You will work closely with clients to understand their data requirements and ensure that solutions are fit for purpose.

Main Responsibilities:

    Manage, coach, and develop a small team of staff, focusing on employee performance and career development. Provide technical leadership for data projects, including assurance, mentoring, and standards definition. Experience in product or technology selection, client engagement skills, and proficiency in mainstream data technologies are essential.

Requirements:

    Strong technical design expertise in core data architecture disciplines. Track record of providing technical leadership within data projects. Excellent client engagement skills and proficiency in at least three mainstream data technologies. Self-starter with ability to work with uncertainty, managing, coaching, and developing junior team members.

Desirable Skills:

    Competent in defining information handling models and capacity planning. Experience in establishing data governance processes, architecting data lakes, and enterprise data architecture.
