Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in operations management.
  2. 8 years of progressive experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality control, and production optimization, with experience in implementing process improvements.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, driving high-performing teams.
  5. Experience in the electric vehicle or automotive industry is a significant advantage, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  6. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and above-average MS Office skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  7. Valid passport with ability to travel internationally, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment

This position requires the employee to wear a full face respirator, with a clean-shaven face as part of the PPE standards. The employee will be moderately required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk and hear, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee may work in the plant and outdoors in the field, subject to all weather conditions, sometimes including extreme cold and heat. The work described while working in the plant or field will require wearing all PPE depending on circumstance, including safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, leather gloves, safety vest, and steel-toed boots.

We anticipate this position will pay a salary range of $100-140k, with compensation based on candidate skills, qualifications, and overall experience level. Compensation at Hexagon Purus includes base salary, comprehensive benefits package, variable annual bonus target, and 6% RRSP match.
