Job Summary
As a Server Assistant at Auberge du Pommier, your role will be to provide exceptional support to our Servers, ensuring that every guest experience is memorable and delightful. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of floor awareness, inspecting tables for proper mise en place, cleanliness and completeness, and assisting with food running and monitoring food quality to ensure O&B presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Servers by inspecting tables, maintaining cleanliness and completeness, and assisting with food running.
- Maintain a high level of floor awareness, ensuring that all tables are properly set and that guests receive exceptional service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards, ensuring that all dishes meet O&B standards.
- Communicate effectively with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating and ensure a smooth service experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required, including cleaning, changing linen, and disposing of trash and recycling.
Requirements:
- A Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification a requirement.
- High attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to take direction, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
