**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking a skilled Railway Labourer to join our team for the 2024 season. As a Railway Labourer, you will work as part of a team performing moderate to heavy physical labour, building and maintaining the track and surrounding materials. Your duties will include replacing and repairing various track components, such as rails, railway ties, fences, and adjusting the alignment and surface of the track, as well as responding to emergencies and track outages.

**Responsibilities**

* Perform moderate to heavy physical labour in building and maintaining the track and surrounding materials
* Replace and repair various track components, including rails, railway ties, fences, and adjusting the alignment and surface of the track
* Respond to emergencies and track outages
* Work as part of a team to complete tasks and projects

**Requirements**

* Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license
* Able to produce a driver's abstract and insurance claims history
* Must pass eRailSafe Canada workforce compliance system
* Able to pass pre-employment medical, including screening for drugs and alcohol
* Able to demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised as well as in teams
* Able to work all types of shifts, including weekends and night shifts
* Able to work in various weather conditions all year round
* Ability and willingness to travel to remote work locations as required
* Maintain Remcan safety guidelines and policies at all times
