Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Service Associate to join our team at TRU BRANDS HOLDINGS GROUP LTD. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food counters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs in a fast-paced environment
  • Package take-out food and portion items with precision
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Taking orders and receiving payment accurately and efficiently
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean working area
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for preparation
Work Environment

You will be working in an urban area with public transportation available, providing flexibility for your daily commute. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods, and attention to detail is crucial to ensure quality service.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; we provide on-the-job training
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
